Hibernate is one of the great feature of Windows , which let us save our battery for the tough time.
Specially now when I’m writing this article I’m on a train and importance of battery I can understand easily.
I’m trying to save each and every inch of my battery power so that I can work more.
Anyways sometime many people find it hard to enable and disable the Hibernate feature in Windows Vista because it is not same as in windows XP.
Enabling and disabling the Hibernate option is very easy in windows Vista too. You can do it easily by running a command.
Open Run
Type “CMD” without quotes.
And type
powercfg /hibernate on : This will enable the hibernate option
Make sure you have enough of disk space for Hibernate to work.
How to Disable Hibernate option in Vista?
Disabling Hibernate option in vista is again the same as above all you need is, Use” “Off” instead of “On”.
powercfg /hibernate off
