Yesterday, I was locating some of my old word documents on a backup disk. The Problem of Opening each of them at looking for anything important was really time killing. Hence, I discovered a handy solution for this. Just preview the document without opening. This make the job much much faster and easier.

1. Open Word.
2. Go to File >> Open. Navigate to the directory which has the word documents.
3. Select ‘Preview’ from the Views dropdown menu in the top-right of the dialog box. (See image below)
4. Select a word file from the directory. You can see the preview in the right pane without the need to open the file.
Works with Office 2003 and above !
