Tracing Ip of sender in Gmail becomes Very handy When someone sends you spoof emails.

In this tutorial I’m covering How to Trace down the sender Is address and location in Gmail.

Follow the Steps:

# Open any Email in Gmail

# Click on More Options and Click on “Show originals”

Now a new Window will pop up like this and there see the highlighted area

Check the first line “hormel.redhat.net” ip=209.132.177.30″

That’s The Ip of The sender. now to trace the sender using this ip.

In our case

Open this site http://network-tools.com/

Enter the IP address and click on submit

BINGO!

In the next window you will see the details of the user.

There are many other sites which can give you all other details for the Ip.( for the security purpose im not posting those sites)
